Dressing and turning up

Small signals the clinic reads before you speak

The clinic has judged your visit before you open the tablet.

The receptionist sees how you arrive. The nurse sees how you wait. The doctor sees the result of both. None of this is about your product, and all of it affects whether he listens.

The formula I give every new rep:

On time + prepared + presentable = taken seriously.

  • On time means ten minutes early, never on the minute.
  • Prepared means the tablet is charged and the right data is already open.
  • Presentable means a clean suit, clean shoes and a clean car. Nothing flashy.
  • And the waiting room counts. Greet the reception team properly. They are watching how you wait.

One habit to drop today: taking phone calls in the waiting room. Everyone there hears it, and none of it is private.

Each of these is small. Together they decide whether the doctor treats you as a professional or as an interruption.

“Before you say a word, you have already told the clinic whether you respect its time.”
